Wow, it’s been quite a while since I’ve posted, hasn’t it?! I’ve had a pretty busy last few months; well, busier than normal. Over the summer I worked part-time as a barista at Starbucks. It was actually a pretty fun job to have, and if I had to go back to work, I’d that would definitely be my first choice for employment. Even though it was only part-time, it was still somewhat difficult to fit that AND homeschooling AND homemaking into my days, so my last day working was a few days ago. My co-workers were all pretty fantastic and I miss working with them, but the store is close to home so I can stop by to chat with them when I’m there.
Homeschooling has been a little bit of a slow start, but we are finally getting into a routine. I have a sophomore, 8th-grader, 6th-grader, and 2nd-grader. Lucas has greatly improved on his reading, and everyone else is progressing fairly well.
My husband was recently promoted at work; he is now the Plant Manager. We are so proud of him, and he’s worked super hard to get where he is now.
Well, I just wanted to give a short update; I’m hoping to get back into the swing of things with blogging very soon.
