School feels different this year for me for some reason. I’m not if it’s because my kids are growing like lightning or because I worked part-time early in the school year what. I’ve had a hard time trying to find a curriculum that will work for us. I have a sophomore, 8th, 6th, and 2nd grader.
I wanted to find something for Rach so she could work more independently, so I signed her up for Time4Learning. I like the content, but some of the tools in the curriculum are hard to figure out, even for me, so I’m not sure if we’ll stick with it. She also has a student planner from Apologia, but I always forget to use paper planners. I really want to get into the habit of them.
The boys have been using Easy Peasy. I mostly like it pretty well. All of the work is listed in order, it’s just been a matter of getting the boys to be more independent and not asking me every 10 minutes what they do next. That part is frustrating, but I’m hoping it’ll get better. If you have any tips for me, please feel free to comment. As it is, we’ll keeping hopping along until we find what works best.
