 We had a wonderful Christmas in the Carroll household. The boys got an Xbox as their big gift, and Rach got a Kindle. Lucas also got a Furby, Stompeez, cowboy boots, and a couple Xbox games and a blanket. Ethan got cowboy boots, Wheel Writer, Wipeout for Xbox, a blanket, and a couple other things I can’t remember. :p Issac got  Wheel Writer, a blanket, some shooting targets and BBs, a NASCAR Xbox game, and shoes. Rach got some makeup, Wheel Writer, shoes, a necklace and bracelet set. The kiddos got a nail gun for Jeremy to help him work on our new place.

Sunday~Eating out since older kids will be at play practice. I’m thinking Captain D’s?

Wow, can you believe it’s the middle of December already?! Christmas is just 9 days away! I will not lie, I am more than excited. I love Christmas so much. I love the joy my kids have, I love the spirit of the season, I love the music. I love it all!
  We have finished most of the gift shopping, but I will be finishing up this week (well duh, Christmas is next week!). There are only a few people left that we need to buy for. I, of course, can’t list any specifics here, because you never know who might be snooping. In addition to finishing up my Christmas shopping I will have to do my regular bi-monthly shopping as well. Shew. This year, we will be starting a new Christmas Eve tradition that I found on Pinterest (I think). I’ll post details after Christmas so as not to ruin the surprise.
  This Wednesday, our church is having our annual Christmas banquet, and the kids will be doing their Christmas play.  It looks like all 4 of the kiddos will be in it this year. I can’t wait to see the play. I admit that I swell with pride when I see my kids in a play. I am just so proud of them.

  Ok, our Christmas menu this year consists of baked spiral sliced ham, and the usual sides of green beans, mashed potatoes, gravy, and so forth. We really love brown sugar glaze on our ham, but this one isn’t coming with a packet. Does anyone have a yummy brown sugar glaze recipe they’d like to share with me? Bring it on!
