In the last few years, especially in the blogging world, whole foods and natural living have been all the rage. Fermenting as many foods as possible, grinding your own grain to make your own breads, sprouting grains…the list goes on. I’ve tried many of these things. With so many bloggers talking about this “better way of living,” it’s hard to not want to jump on the bandwagon. It makes you feel like you’re not doing your best if you’re not living to their standards. Shoot, I even got rid of our microwave, because *gasp* it can cause cancer and ruins the taste and texture your foods. I also bought a Bosch mixer, because heck, if you’re gonna grind your own grains and make all of your own bread products, you need that Bosch mixer, right? It’s totally the bee’s knees. Everyone uses them! I made almost everything we ate from scratch. Not eggs, though, because I can’t make those.

Motivate Your Child (MYC) Action Plan Review
You may recall that I reviewed a book earlier this year called Motivate Your Child, a book about parenting the hearts of your children that I loved! Well, I was also given the opportunity to review its successor, Motivate Your Child Action Plan. While Motivate Your Child is more informational, Action Plan is getting down to the nitty-gritty, and you’re going to start really doing some work.

Exploring Ephesus ~ A Schoolhouse Crew Review
It’s fun to watch TV shows and movies as a family, but sometimes you want something that’s mostly for yourself, that’s not a cartoon or something, right? I know I do. I was given a copy of the Exploring Ephesus DVD to watch from FishFlix.com. In this DVD, you get to walk (or drive in a BMW convertible!) down memory lane and explore the city of Ephesus along with Dr. Andy Jackson and Dr. Mark Wilson. It’s a bit historical in nature, so I was pretty stoked to get to watch this. The runtime is 58 minutes, so I got nearly an hour to watch something for myself. Yay me!
