I’ve been reading Above Rubies for a while now. Some time last year I think, I saw an ad in the magazine for a book that looked interesting. It’s called Trim, Healthy Mama.
This book is so chocked full of great information and recipes. I love recipes and cookbooks. I can sit down and read through a cookbook as if it were a regular reading book. I used to collect cookbooks until we started having mouse issues.
Anyhow, I love love this book. It’s HUGE, and I read it in about 2 or 3 days. We’ll say 2 days, because I don’t like odd numbers. You can even purchase it in e-book form, and for your Kindle. Or, if you prefer a physical book, you can purchase Trim Healthy Mama: No More Fads: A Common Sense Guide to Satisfy Your Cravings and Energize Your Life on Amazon.
I started the plan a couple weeks ago and am already down about 5 pounds. I don’t have oodles of weight to lose. I do think that I’m going to invest in a scale, though, so I can keep track of my progress. I’m thinking I may even blog about it! There are some seriously awesome recipes in the book that will help you on your weight-loss journey. This isn’t a diet, though, it’s a way of life!
