We started back to school last Wednesday after about a 3 week break. I admit, it’s been slow going trying to get back into the groove of things. No one really wants to work, and I don’t feel like teaching. We’ll get into a good routine soon, though. It always takes a little time. Issac has decided he wanted to use Switched on Schoolhouse again for his work. I don’t much care for it because he reads his lessons too quickly, and when it comes time to answer the questions, he doesn’t remember the answer and doesn’t take the time to look. Oy.
I don’t remember if I posted what I got for Christmas. Take a looky-loo!
Aren’t they prettyful? I’m SO stoked! I usually only drink 1 or 2 cups of coffee per day, so the Keurig is super handy. My kids keep trying to get me to make them coffee every day, but this baby is MINE! I’m loving my new convection toaster oven as well. It even has a built in rotisserie, see?!
This was my first time ever using a rotisserie, so I need to work on my, uh, forking skills. I had to take it out and redo it because it was flopping weird when it turned. The chicken came out moist and delicious, though, so that’s what matters, right? I had to use some cotton yarn from my stash because I forgot to get any butcher’s twine.
